Furthermore, the business is focused on doing it’s part to bridge the gap between Indigenous people employment and business opportunities while strengthening relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. 

In 2019, Timberbuilt under new ownership was relocated to Kwinana, Western Australia, having been aquired from its Managing Director – Bruce Hutchins who founded the company back in 1982. 

The business to this day remains true to its origins, continuing to be a market leader in the engineering design, manufacturing, and assembly of mass large span timber structures in Australia.     

Through the in-house engineering and software capabilities coupled with the German Hundegger K2 CNC joinery machinery available within its Kwinana factory, Timberbuilt has the ability to process to intricate precision large scale timber members on mass and has been recognised by recent Architectural and Engineering Innovation and Excellence Awards.
